Me and my wife stay in this hotel under the old management and it was a bad experience. We book this time like the last time all the hotel near foxwoods was full. This time it was great the room great the bed was comfortable and the room had a microwave and a full size refrigerator the next time we go to foxwoods we are staying here also the price was very good. The new management and the staff was very friendly. We traveled with another couple and they where very pleases. Also the rooms had full lighting.

I DID NOT like any of it. From the moment I got there I was uncomfortable because of the staff. They’re very rude and jabby with their words. To top it off, there was no soap/ shower stuff to access just one tiny nasty brittle bar of soap, next there were no do no disturb signs and when I asked the guy at the rest of there was any, he treated me like I was stupid or crazy for asking, also, the WiFi was trash, could not support a Xbox what so ever barely even my iPhone 11, half of the outlets in the room did not work, there was no breakfast, just black hot coffee with sugar packets, and the list goes on. But the real kicker was when my fiancé woke up cover in giant red bumps or bites we don’t even know what it was but will he going to get it checked out.

The bedroom coverings was beautiful, felt like I was in someone's bedroom.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant and calm atmosphere of the premises. The rooms were clean, well stocked, and well-maintained. The furnishings were new, and the pictures reflected the real thing.

The property's location played a crucial role in my decision-making process. Its proximity to various stores, restaurants, and the highway greatly influenced my choice. Considering that I visit this town 3 to 4 times a year, I have always been satisfied with the exceptional service provided by the staff here.
Front desk person was receptive. But, Hilltop Express Inn is under new ownership. I had a bad feeling about the reservation, tried calling in advance but phone was out of service. I showed up to find the place under complete re-construction. They should not take reservations until work is complete.
Checkin clerk was very friendly
The hotel was in a convenient location and the staff members were friendly. I don't think there were any other guests staying at the hotel, there were no cars in the parking lot and we didn't see anyone else besides the staff both days we were there. Bed was comfortable.
The non smoking room actually didn't smell like cigarettes. The room smelled clean but not perfumed. The beds were comfortable, the room was peaceful and quiet, there was a fridge, coffee and a hair dryer.
There was nothing to like about this place.

Nice people at reception. This hotel has perhaps recently been bought and is in the process of renovations. We needed a safe, reasonably priced room and this fit the bill. But, they have a long way to go. They had a blow dryer and nice absorbent towels, thank you!
